I had the privilege to talk about game engines in World Game Expo (WGE) 2017, the name of my talk was “Understanding Game Engines”, the talk went through the many of the important aspects that concern the making of game engines and their internals, subjects like memory, network, rendering, sound and code architecture to name few, here are both the brochure for the talk and a sample slide to:
